Just off of Chiang Mai’s epicentre of hip, Nimmanhaemin Road, Gallery Seescape is an experimental art space that offers both thought-provoking modern art, and an impressive brunch spread. Owned and founded by Thai artist Torlarp Larpjaroensook in 2008, the modest gallery is broken into sections, with exhibits rotating between both international and local artists. With the goal of creating a creative community space, Larpjaroensook curates shows with a range of mediums, from video installations to sculptures to performance art, many of which are supplemented by artists talks that are open to the public. Next to the gallery, the compound is also home to trendy SS1254372 Cafe (you’ll be forgiven for forgetting the name), where your Instagram will love the pretty fruit bowls almost as much as the creative work at Seescape.
