The House Lounge
Set in the back of the old colonial mansion built in 1937 that houses The House by Ginger, The House Lounge serves cocktails inspired by the property’s rich history in a alluring ambience. Eclectically decorated with maps, chandeliers, velvet couches and plenty of tropical flower arrangements, the space is inherently entertaining. But come around on a night when the jazz band is playing or a guest bartender is taking charge and a good time is all but guaranteed. Drinks here are carefully put together with local ingredients (some of which comes from their organic garden) and homemade elixirs. The menu goes through the ages, telling stories of the bygone days with drinks like the Gastby Negroni under the Jazz Age sub-menu, which adds smoked apple wood to the classic recipe, and under the Flower Power category, the Vanilla Revolution, which is made with spiced rum, Campari, Fernet Branca, sweet vermouth infused with vanilla and smoked cigar.
